Description
KSA “Feng” Series – CrimsonEdge Katana | Performance Hand-Forged High Carbon Clay Tempered Blade | Polished Edge | Red Ishime Saya | Genuine Rayskin
The Crimson Edge is a full-tang katana forged for practical performance and durability. Constructed in Maru style with high-carbon steel, it features clean geometry, precise lines, and excellent balance—suitable for martial arts practice and cutting.
The blade is clay-tempered with a straight suguha hamon, ensuring strong cutting performance. The tsuba is an iron mokkō design with blackened finish. The fuchi and kashira are made of cupronickel and engraved with sakura motifs. A shakudo copper habaki provides contrast while securing the blade.
The tsuka is wrapped in red ito over white samegawa (rayskin), offering a firm and reliable grip. The saya is finished in red ishime lacquer, complemented by a matching red sageo to complete the composition.
The Crimson Edge is ideal for practitioners and collectors alike, embodying the fusion of martial functionality and traditional craftsmanship.
