Description
KSA “Feng” Series – EarthFlame Katana | Performance Hand-Forged Spring Steel Blade | Polished Edge with Decorative Hamon | Black Gloss Saya | Genuine Rayskin
This Earth Flame katana is hand-forged in a traditional Maru construction using high-performance modern steel. The blade showcases a graceful notare-style hamon, polished to highlight its flowing wave pattern. The tsuba is crafted in a classic mokkō shape from iron with a deep patina finish, offering both strength and balance.
The fuchi-kashira are made of white copper, intricately decorated with dragon and wave designs, while the polished copper habaki provides a smooth and refined transition between the blade and its fittings. The menuki, also in white copper, feature finely detailed dragon motifs that add a bold and elegant touch beneath the wrap.
The handle is bound with brown cotton over natural ray skin, with precise diamond patterns that enhance both grip and aesthetics. The saya is finished in a glossy black lacquer with a subtle sparkling effect, creating a striking presence. Reinforced with water buffalo horn at the mouth, knob, and end, the scabbard combines durability with elegance. A tightly woven brown cotton sageo completes this refined mounting.
Swords holder or stand sold separately.
