Description
KSA “Feng” Series – GoldenHorizon Katana | Performance Hand-Forged High Carbon Clay Tempered Blade | Polished Edge | Black Gloss Saya | Genuine Rayskin
This Golden Horizon katana is hand-forged from high-carbon modern steel in the Maru style, ensuring both strength and sharpness. The blade is clay-tempered to produce a graceful gonome hamon, flowing in a wave-like rhythm along the edge.
The fittings are crafted with fine detail: a round iron tsuba with a blackened finish and spoke-style openwork design, paired with blackened white copper fuchi-kashira engraved with traditional arabesque patterns. A copper habaki secures the blade, while the menuki, also of blackened white copper, depict fierce warrior figures, adding character and spirit.
The handle is wrapped in light yellow synthetic fiber over natural ray skin, with a precise diamond pattern for both elegance and a secure grip. The glossy black lacquered saya is accented with a tightly woven light yellow sageo, creating a refined contrast.
Altogether, this katana balances strength with artistry—an elegant weapon that embodies tradition, resilience, and timeless beauty.
