Description
KSA “Feng” Series – Manji Sukashi Katana | Performance Hand-Forged High Carbon Steel Blade | Notare Hamon | Tenshō Koshirae | Copper Manji-sukashi Tsuba | Black Gloss Saya | Hourglass-shaped Tsuka
The Manji-sukashi Katana is forged from high carbon steel and features a graceful notare hamon (wave pattern), combining elegance with reliable cutting performance. Forged in the classic shinogi-zukuri style with a defined kissaki, the blade reflects both strength and refined artistry rooted in the late Sengoku period.
The mountings are executed in the Tenshō Koshirae style. A finely crafted copper manji-sukashi tsuba symbolizes good fortune and continuity, while the fuchi-kashira are made from water buffalo horn, emphasizing natural durability. The koiguchi (scabbard mouth) is reinforced with buffalo horn, ensuring lasting endurance. The tsuka is wrapped in black composite leather ito over genuine rayskin, reinforced with hishigami to create a precise diamond pattern for both aesthetics and grip.
The saya is finished in a lustrous black starlight gloss lacquer, shimmering subtly under the light. Paired with a black sageo, the cohesive design presents a katana that is both elegant and imposing, with strong historical resonance.
