Description
KSA “Feng” Series – RedSplendor Katana | Performance Hand-Forged Spring Steel Blade | Polished Edge with Decorative Hamon | Red Ishime Saya | Genuine Rayskin
This Red Splendor katana is expertly forged in a Maru-style construction from high-performance modern steel. The blade features a decorative straight-edge (suguha) hamon, polished to highlight its temper line. The Mokko-gata openwork tsuba is crafted from iron with a sleek blackened finish, combining elegance with strength. The fuchi-kashira are made of white copper with delicate floral engravings, blackened and polished for a refined touch. A polished shakudo habaki adds a subtle contrast, while the menuki feature blackened floral designs beneath the wrap.
The tsuka is wrapped in brown silk over natural ray skin, with diamond-patterned hishigami for added texture and grip. The saya is finished in a rich red lacquer, with reinforced koiguchi, kurigata, and kojiri crafted from durable water buffalo horn. A matching wine-red silk sageo completes this elegant and functional mounting.
Swords holder or stand sold separately.
