Description
KSA “Qing” Series – Sakuraflame Katana | Performance Spring Steel Blade | Decorative Chōji Midare Hamon with Shinken-hi | Red Saya | Genuine Rayskin Handle
The Sakuraflame Katana is crafted from Performance-grade Spring Steel and fully quenched, providing excellent toughness and flexibility, making it suitable for practical cutting exercises. The blade features a stunning decorative Chōji Midare hamon, with the hamon area finished using a combination of togi polishing and sandblasting, creating a striking contrast with the mirror-polished hi and ji areas. The blade comes with a functional Shinken-hi groove by default, enhancing both its aesthetics and handling performance.
The tsuba is made of iron with an openwork sakura (cherry blossom) design, complemented by Fuchi and Kashira in blackened white copper with cherry blossom relief, adding decorative elegance. The habaki is polished brass. The handle is white genuine ray skin (samegawa), wrapped with brown synthetic silk tsuka-ito. The saya is red, completing the vibrant and elegant look.
This katana harmoniously combines traditional aesthetics with modern craftsmanship, making it both a beautiful display piece and a functional blade for cutting practice. It is an exclusive design and creation by our Australian KSA brand, offering exceptional value for our supporting katana enthusiasts.
