Description
Katana Motonari is a completed customer sword build centered around a T10 steel blade with clay tempering and a flowing Notare wave hamon.
The gently undulating hamon runs along the cutting edge, creating a clean wave-like rhythm that becomes especially visible under the polished finish. Rather than using an overly complex mounting scheme, this build combines a black-wrapped tsuka with white samegawa, subtle gold-tone details, a black tsuba, and a striking red saya.
The contrast between the restrained black handle fittings and the red saya gives the finished sword a clear visual identity, while the Notare hamon remains the main feature of the blade.
