To the maximum extent permitted by the applicable law, we (KatanaSwordArt) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, fines, or risks, where incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from the purchase, use, storage, or delivery of the goods or seller’s omission to advise. Permit or license may be required under your jurisdiction. We (KatanaSwordArt), at all times, shall not be held accountable for any breach of state law and action taken by the authorities.

State laws change regularly; it is impossible for us to give exact information regarding the legal status of items in every State. Please contact your local State Police Department and ask them for specific information regarding the ownership of items you wish to purchase.

By placing a Katana or Sword order, the customers confirm that they are over 18 years old and are aware of all local, state and federal laws regarding the possession or carrying of the products they are ordering. Customers are responsible for compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and laws. KatanaSwordArt does not warrant that a person or company may legally sell, purchase, possess, or carry any of the items offered according to federal, state, or local laws.

Swords are currently prohibited in Victoria; customers in Victoria must have a “prohibited weapons permit” or an exemption. We need legible copies of the following two documents before we send your Katana or Sword. Please scan your certificate or membership card with a current Photo ID and email them to swordart@katanaswordart.com.au with your order number. The transaction fee may apply if a customer in Victoria requests a refund because of the Permit issue.

• Prohibited Weapons Permit or an Exemption (Membership from a Collectors’ Organisation)
• Driver’s Licence or other Photo ID.
