This Wave-Themed Katana is a recently completed customer build featuring a folded steel clay-tempered blade and a coordinated blue, black and brass-toned koshirae.
The mounting features a brass wave-themed tsuba and matching fuchi-kashira, paired with deep blue tsuka-ito and matching sageo. The tsuka uses fully wrapped genuine rayskin with Emperor Nodes, adding a more premium traditional finish. Brass seppa and habaki continue the warm metallic theme.
The saya is finished in black sparkling lacquer and reinforced with buffalo-horn fittings, creating a clean contrast with the blue textile elements and brass fittings.
