Description
Hantachi KongZhan | Full Tang Manganese Steel Blade | Polished Edge | Yellow-Brown Saya
The KongZhan (“Empty Slash”) is a finely crafted full-tang hantachi featuring a manganese steel blade, uniting cutting performance, durability, and refined aesthetics. Its shinogi-zukuri geometry offers reliable strength and balanced handling, making it well-suited for practice, collection, and tasteful display.
The blade is finely polished with smooth, flowing lines and precise cutting geometry, expressing the clarity and discipline of traditional craftsmanship. A brass-toned alloy habaki seats the blade securely, while a silver-toned tsuba with detailed relief and matching fuchi and kashira complete a cohesive, well-balanced mounting.
The saya is yellow-brown with a subtly textured surface that lends a warm, organic character. A brown sageo is tied down neatly, and the tsuka is wrapped in brown ito over a black base, providing a secure and confident grip with a classic, understated contrast.
The KongZhan hantachi embodies the harmony between strength and artistry—sleek, restrained, and confidently functional, like a single clean stroke cutting through still air.
