Description

KSA “Huo” Series Katana – DragonRhythm | Hand-Forged T10 High Carbon Clay Tempered Blade | Sanbonsugi Hamon | Sashikomi Polish | Black Red-Speckled Saya | Genuine Rayskin | Authentic Kissaki Structure

DragonRhythm is a katana from the Huo Series, defined by cadence, repetition, and controlled momentum. Forged from T10 high-carbon steel in Maru-zukuri construction, the blade emphasizes structural consistency, clean geometry, and balanced handling, making it suitable for both disciplined practice and refined display.

The blade is clay tempered, revealing a distinctive Sanbonsugi hamon—a rhythmic pattern of repeating peaks that reflects measured heat application and precise edge control. The polished surface remains restrained and clear, allowing the hamon’s structured movement to stand out without excess contrast. In motion, the blade tracks smoothly, favoring stability and timing over raw aggression.

The koshirae is fitted with a blackened iron tsuba featuring Nine Syllable openwork, evoking protection, order, and ritual continuity. The white copper fuchi-kashira, carved in a wave-and-dragon motif, reinforces the theme of controlled force flowing through repetition. A brass habaki secures the blade firmly while adding a warm metallic accent to the darker mount.

The tsuka is wrapped in brown ito over genuine black samegawa, offering a secure grip with a subdued, grounded character. The saya is finished in black lacquer with red speckled detailing, its surface suggesting restrained energy beneath a calm exterior. A matching brown sageo completes the mount with visual cohesion and balance.

DragonRhythm is not defined by spectacle, but by repetition and control. It is a katana shaped by timing, structure, and measured force—well suited for practitioners and collectors who value rhythm, restraint, and enduring form.
