Description
Katana Penglai | Full Tang Manganese Steel Blade | Polished Edge | White Speckled Saya
The Penglai (“Fairy Isle”) is a finely crafted full-tang katana forged from manganese steel, combining resilience, dependable edge feel, and refined aesthetics. Its shinogi-zukuri construction ensures excellent strength and balance, making it suitable for both martial practice and elegant display.
The blade is finely polished with smooth, flowing lines and precise cutting geometry. A subtle wave motif along the edge adds character while honoring traditional craftsmanship. The alloy tsuba presents a clean, composed profile that suggests quiet strength, while the matching alloy fuchi and kashira carry understated detailing, completing a cohesive and balanced mounting.
The saya is finished in distinctive white lacquer with a speckled texture, echoing sea mist over stone. A deep-blue sageo with white flecks complements the theme, while the tsuka is wrapped in blue-and-white interlaced ito, forming a clean, high-contrast striped grip that balances elegance with intensity.
The Penglai katana embodies the harmony between strength and artistry — a blade that reflects composed discipline with a fresh, ocean-toned style.
