Description
KSA “Huo” Series Katana – WheelArc | Hand-Forged T10 High Carbon Clay Tempered Blade | Polished Edge | Black Gloss Saya | Genuine Rayskin | Authentic Kissaki Structure
WheelArc is a katana from the Huo Series, defined by precision, rhythm, and controlled motion. Forged from T10 high-carbon steel in Maru-zukuri construction, the blade emphasizes structural consistency, clean geometry, and reliable balance, making it suitable for both martial arts practice and refined display.
The blade is clay tempered, forming a smooth and flowing notare hamon that reflects disciplined heat control and careful edge development. The polished surface presents a clear, understated appearance, allowing the movement of the hamon to stand out without distraction. During handling, the blade offers stable tracking and responsive feedback, favoring control over excess aggression.
The koshirae is fitted with a blackened iron tsuba featuring an openwork wheel motif, symbolizing continuity, rotation, and measured force. A brass habaki secures the blade firmly while adding a subtle warmth that contrasts with the darker tones of the mount.
The tsuka is wrapped in deep blue ito over genuine white samegawa, providing a secure, confident grip with a restrained visual character. The saya is finished in a black high-gloss lacquer, offering a smooth, reflective surface that complements the blade’s clean lines. A matching blue sageo completes the mount, reinforcing balance and cohesion throughout the design.
WheelArc is a katana shaped by rhythm rather than spectacle. Calm, deliberate, and precise, it reflects a design philosophy focused on balance, continuity, and enduring form—well suited for practitioners and collectors who value structure and control over excess ornamentation.
