Description
KSA “Qing” Series – Sakuradusk Katana | Performance Spring Steel Blade | Mirror Blade with Shinken-hi | Black Saya | Genuine Rayskin Handle
The Sakuradusk Katana is crafted from Performance-grade Spring Steel and fully quenched, offering exceptional toughness and flexibility, making it ideal for practical cutting exercises. The blade is mirror-polished and free of hamon, presenting a sleek, modern aesthetic. A functional Shinken-hi groove runs along the blade by default, enhancing both balance and handling.
The tsuba is made of iron, designed in a Nine Syllable Openwork pattern, while the Fuchi and Kashira are white copper with delicate sakura relief, adding refined decorative detail. The habaki is polished brass. The handle (tsuka) is wrapped in genuine ray skin (samegawa) with matching deep blue cord, complemented by a black ishime-style textured lacquer saya, creating a sophisticated and striking visual contrast.
This katana harmoniously combines traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern craftsmanship, making it both a beautiful display piece and a functional blade for cutting practice. It is an exclusive design and creation by our Australian KSA brand, offering exceptional value for collectors and enthusiasts.
